Ezra Tech Ranch Gear was created to honor a great man in our family, Ezra Glen Cook. As my grandfather he and I had a bond and friendship like none other. Poppy, as we called him, was and will always be my greatest hero. Poppy saw every moment in life as an opportunity to train the next generation & honor his Heavenly Father. Poppy turned the family ranch, founded in 1906, into one of the most beautiful & functional ranches in San Saba County.

Ezra died in 2011 during one of the worst droughts in modern history. The task of keeping, maintaining, and improving the Cook Ranch has now fallen to my family. Again, every moment is an opportunity to train the next generation & honor my Heavenly Father. My children are in training as I was in training to learn how to be good stewards of what God has given us. As homeschool families we have the levity to adjust our schedule so that Deacon, Levi, and Caleb can be a part of ranch life. Homeschool also allows the boys the time to create the products we sell. Our desire is to build products that are useful, solve everyday issues, honor the life of Ezra Cook, and Honor God.
